How Potenza Microneedling RF Works
After numbing cream is applied, the Potenza handpiece is pressed against the skin and tiny insulated needles penetrate to the pre-set depth (typically 0.5–3.5mm). At the needle tip — insulated from the epidermis to protect the surface — RF energy is delivered precisely into the dermis.
This creates controlled thermal injury at the exact depth of the target concern: superficial depths for pore reduction and texture, deeper settings for acne scars and laxity.
